Awning Fabric Repair

Patching and repair for torn, punctured or damaged awning fabric.

Long black restaurant awnings with printed logos on a historic building

Most fabric damage we see is mechanical rather than weather: a delivery truck mirror, a ladder set against the edge, a branch working at the same spot every time the wind comes up, or a fixing that has slowly cut its way through the cloth.

Small holes and clean tears take a bonded or stitched patch from the back, which keeps the repair off the sightline from the street. Larger damage gets a full panel replacement rather than a patch that will always look like one.

What it covers

  • 01Backed patches for punctures, cuts and small tears
  • 02Panel replacement where a patch would be visible from the street
  • 03Reinforcement at the point of wear so the damage does not repeat
  • 04Edge, hem and pocket repairs where fabric has pulled away from the frame

Most awnings can be assessed from a couple of clear photos — one of the whole awning and one close up on the damage. Call or email and you will get a straight answer on whether it is a clean, a repair or a recover.
